Do you prefer dating someone who is of the opposite sex, same sex, or either? And how exactly do you know that you are sure of your sexuality&#8212;that it is not a phase? I am straight. I like men. My view on dating is that you date someone with the intentions to marry them. There is no other purpose for dating. So, when I meet men, if I cannot envision myself marrying them, I keep them in a friend zone. This is why I do not have many relationships. There are certain standards I have for my future husband! But the question is raised, how do I know I will never marry a woman? I know because of my religion. I am a Christian, and as such, I desire a marriage that resides under God. While God may have in store for others to marry amoungst their same sex, I strongly believe that is not what he has planned for me. Also, when I envision a happy marriage and a happy life, I do not envision it with a woman. Please do not mistake my statements with me being a homophob, I do not disapprove of any sexual orientation, I just know what I am and what is in store for me.
